Opened on Valentine's Day, the extraordinary sculpture of colored neon by Marco Lodola, is located in Piazza C. Battisti.

The work of Lodola enriches the collection of works exposed downtown San Benedetto, where you can also admire sculptures by Ugo Nespolo, Enrico Baj, Mark Kostabi, Salvo, Paolo Consorti.

Marco Lodola was born in Dorno (PV) on 4th April 1955 and lives and works in Pavia. After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence and Milan, in the early 80's with a group of artists he founded the movement ''New'' Futurism, whose critic Renato Barilli was the main theoretician.
Lodola, since that season, has made it essential for his creative art the use of industrial materials such as plexihlas, perpex and enamel, leading to innovative experiences. He intends to obtain images that directly refer also to his other cultural interests, from music to movies, from advertising to comics.
