The fisherman family

The fisherman family, in the square facing the City Hall
The fisherman family

This bronze work by the sculptor Aldo Sergiacomi from Offida rises in the square facing the City Hall, is dedicated to the Fisherman family.

The man is holding his wife and child on his shoulders and his message is quite clear: he has to toil and take risk at sea every day simply because he needs to provide his family with basic necessities.

It is a due homage paid to fishermen's tenacity, to the physical and moral strength of a category of people who made the city's history and fortune.
