Giovanni Gaspari was born in Montedinove (Ap) on January 12th 1959. He is married and he's got two children.

He currently is a member of the Italian Democratic Party (PD) Regional Assembly.

On Thursday, June 1st, the Mayor Giovanni Gaspari has taken over, by signing the formal protocol, the headquarters and the municipality, by assuming the representative of the City. He is officially the eighteenth postwar Mayor of San Benedetto del Tronto.

In March 2009, he is appointed as Vice President of Marche ANCI (The Italian Municipalities National Association).

On Wednesday, June 1st 2011, the Mayor Giovanni Gaspari has taken over for the second time, the headquarters and the municipality, by assuming the representative of the City.
